The 12 steps to perfrctly fitting a SunStrip. When fitting a SunStrip, fitting must take place in an environment without wind and the temperature should be above 10 degrees C

Step No. 1(Above) :- Thoroughly clean and dry the window. For this we would use meths (white spirit) and a lint free cloth. Ensure you dry right into the edges and corners.

Step No. 2(Above) :-Position the SunStrip centrally and hold it in place with masking tape or similar.

Step No. 3(Above) :- Trim away the excess overhang. Ensure that at least 1" of overhang remains.

Step No. 4(Above) :- Peel the strip away from the backing paper and cut away 2-3" of the backing paper as shown.

Step No. 5(Above) :-Using a fitting tool (Sold on this site) or credit card, proceed to work down the strip in an up and down motion slowly progressing along the strip whilst you do so.

Step No. 6(Above) :- The end of the strip is now 'tagged' down. You can now remove the masking tape holding the strip in place.

Step No. 7(Above) :-Peel off some more of the backing paper, use the same technique as Step 5 and work your way slowly and carefully along the strip.

Step No. 8(Above) :-Peel off some more of the backing paper, use the same technique as Step 5 and work your way slowly and carefully along the strip.

Step No. 9(Above) :-That is it. The strip is fully down and well stuck in place.

Step No. 10(Above) :-After working the vinyl SunStrip well into the edges and corners, use a very sharp knife to trim away the excess. Be careful here as you don't want to cut into the rubber seals.
Step No.11(Above) :-If you have any bubbles then don't worry. Use a very sharp knife point or needle to prick one side of the bubble and then just press the air out.
Step No. 12(Above) :-There you go, it is done. Easy isn't it !
